API Building Community Leaders
Campaign Boot Camp 2025
API Building Community Leaders is kicking off with a two-day campaign boot camp for API leaders ready to dive into the political process. ​
This two-day training experience includes leadership development, campaign and election basics, messaging and speaking, and API community issues. This first cohort will get an overview of how to get started on a political campaign, take on a leadership mindset, and plug into a network of community leaders and current and former API elected officials.
2025 Inaugural Cohort
Our first cohort of BCL Campaign Boot Camp participants went through a selective process to identify candidates who:

Express a desire to run for elected office or lead political campaigns in the near future

Have an established connection to API communities in San Francisco

Have evidence of making leadership moves

Add to the group's diversity of backgrounds, ethnicities, ages, industries, and lived experiences that represent a broad cross-section of API communities

Are based in San Francisco, CA
